Manage Diabetes With Infrared Light and Hyperbaric Oxygen

Friday, June 25, 2010 by Dr. Julian Whitaker
William’s diabetic neuropathy caused unrelenting pain and near-complete numbness of his feet that made it impossible for him to walk without a cane.  The only treatment his doctor offered was painkillers, but William couldn’t handle their side effects, so he stopped taking them. That’s when he decided to visit the Whitaker Wellness Institute.

While there, William underwent a course of infrared light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. For William, infrared light, along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, did the trick. After two weeks of these therapies, he could walk and even climb stairs without his cane, and by the time he returned home, he was pain-free.

This is just one of the many diabetes success stories from the Whitaker Wellness Institute. There are myriad alternative treatments for diabetes that are working wonders, many of which are discussed in this blog, as well as in Health & Healing

I started taking the Glucose Essentials. My stool did turn a black or dark green, I stopped taking them and went to my dr.and had blood test. Everything is ok,sugar and everything else is a little high but over all in good condition. I would like to go back and start taking the glucose essentials. I did not see anything in it that would hurt me. I am not on insulin or diabetic meds. I am taking, or suppose to be taking simvastatin and lisinopril, bupropion, he did take me off the atenolol. Anyway I don't want to go on. i just want to know why my stool turns dark green?

Hi Linda - The changes in stool color are a result of the vanadyl sulfate in Glucose Essentials. It's a known harmless effect of this mineral (similar to how taking Pepto Bismol or iron supplements can change stool color), and you may safely resume your usual dosage. Best of luck to you in your blood sugar management!

A few years past you report the about a doctor I believe he was from Chicago) who treated diabetes in men with testosterone and eventually lost his license to practice and then started research at a major medical facility. You later reported that other research centrers were researching testostrone thearpy for treating Diabetes. Can you send me references so I can find these reports. My doctor would like see them. I told him about these reports and he does not believe they are real. Thank you for your help. My wife receives your news letter.
